The XMEGA-A1 Xplained kit features the ATxmega128A1 device which is a picoPower device optimized for the best possible combination of real time performance, integration and power efficiency. It is part of the AVR XMEGA family of devices ranging from 44-100 pin, 16-256 KB of Flash program memory and 4-16 KB of SRAM. The XMEGA A1 Xplained kit features a separate board controller and UART/I2C bridge to USB to drive the USB port.
