From the beginning, Gleichmann Electronics, like all members of the MSC Group, has focused on only a few product groups and suppliers. From experience, we are convinced that technical competence and logistics strengths of a distributor can only truly take full effect by being focused.

A particular focus is given to the areas of displays and optoelectronics. As authorized distribution partner of Truly, Ampire, RCL, Clover, Elec & Eltek, Hexa-Chain, AUO, NEC and LG Philips, we not only sell TFTs, LCDs, LCD modules or OLEDs, but – in contrast to some competitors - also offer extensive services right up to complete display designs.

To be one of the best is obviously not a reason for us to lay back and be complacent. In order to be able to offer you reasonably priced and customer specifi c modifiable standard LCD modules, we launched at the end of 2007 our in-house brand: GE Vision!

GE Vision offers you:

• More than 130 standard LCD modules from 1 x 8 characters to graphic modules with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, almost all of which are available in all popular LCD technologies.
• More than 30 module types with RGB backlight. This innovative technology enables the drive of monochrome displays with numerous background colors using an appropriate PWM control e.g.: to visualize certain operating conditions of a machine control or to accomplish special design oriented requirements.
• Diverse assembly options from an additional DC/DC converter or on-board temperature compensation to mounting of connectors on the module.
• Complete PCB redesigns with extra switches or small additional circuits.
• Customer specifi c modifi cations starting with volumes of 500. In addition to the various assembly options, the customer specific services also include: printed circuit board layout changes, mounting of pin rows according to customer’s specification as well as various cable solutions or also printed circuit board changes relating to size and form factor with additional mounting options.

Even full custom solutions or one-to-one copies of obsolete modules of other manufacturers can be provided at attractive prices. This is where the technical competence of our Taiwanese production partner takes effect. Our partner combines, under one roof, practically all production processes right up to the manufacturing of the backlights.

The operating temperature range of the modules is consistently specified at -20°C to +70°C. Therefore, all GE Vision products are usable - without restrictions - in industrial applications.
