The Enclosure MSC Q7-MB-EP-02 BOX-001 is particularly suitable for the MSC Q7-MB-EP2/4 Embedded Platform Boards for Qseven modules. Both boards have the Qseven module arranged on the lower side so that the module’s heat spreader can be mounted to establish thermal contact with the housing’s bottom. Thus the metal housing becomes the heatsink sufficient for the moderate heat generated by Qseven modules with Intel® Atom, AMD® G-T40, NVidia® Tegra-290 or the TI TMS320C6A8168 processors.

The enclosure provides suitable cut-outs for the baseboards’ connectors plus two optional cut-outs for D-Sub9 connectors for serial lines connecting to the baseboard’s pin headers.
