New XLamp® ML-C Facilitates The Design of New Lighting Solutions

Even more versatile: Cree extends XLamp® ML family of LEDs

Stutensee (Germany) - The new, Xlamp ML-C (Distribution: MSC) convinces with a very even light distribution and is available in different price-performance variants. The new XLamp® allows the use of more efficient and more compact driver, for example to offer LED replacement lamps more cheaply. The single footprint of the ML-housing is retained in the new LED. This gives customers the opportunity to expand their product portfolio quickly and easily. 

Possible replacement lamps are LED-based lighting systems for building and decoration or as a substitute for fluorescent tubes. The XLamp ML-C reached up to 37 lumens in cool white (5.000 K) and up to 31 lumens in warm white (3.000 K) at 100 mA. The white XLamp LED ML-C has a typical voltage of 3.2 volts.

For the ML-LEDs LM-80 test data over 6.000 hours of operation are available. The corresponding data are immediately available and can be used ® qualification for ENERGY STAR accelerated. The white XLamp LEDs of the ML family are also available in minimum CRI values of 80, 85 and 90.
