MSC Presents Modular Embedded Platform for Digital Signage Applications
|
|
The small embedded platform MSC Q7-MB-EP2 in combination with a compact,
energy efficient Qseven™ module from MSC is powerful enough to display a 1080p
video stream. Using an Intel® Atom™ processor Z510 at 1,1 GHz clock rate, the
processor load is around 20 percent only. Thanks to the low power dissipation of
less than 10W the platform is ideally suited for fan-less display systems
running Windows® XP, Windows® 7 or Linux.

The MSC Q7-MB-EP2 is an optimal foundation for quickly and easily designing
system solutions in small and medium volume size. Using the modular Qseven
technology, embedded computing devices for the HMI (human machine interface) and
POS/POI (Point-of-Sale/Point-of-Information) markets can be deployed.
